Rachel Miceli, LPC
Counselor
Hi, I’m Rachel—a Licensed Professional Counselor and lifelong learner deeply fascinated by the human experience. I’m passionate about helping teens and adults navigate life’s challenges, rediscover their strengths and boundaries, and build more meaningful, connected lives.
I believe that at our core, we all seek connection—whether it’s with others, with ourselves and our values, or with a greater sense of purpose. But life transitions, trauma, ineffective self-care, and burnout can derail us from connection, leaving us feeling lost or disconnected. My goal is to provide a calm, compassionate, and collaborative space where clients feel seen, supported, and gently challenged as they work towards personal growth and connection.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with teens and adults in a wide range of settings, including inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment centers, private practice, universities, state correctional facilities, community settings, and neuropsychological research and assessment services. These experiences have shaped my integrative approach to therapy, which draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Client-Focused Therapy, and Attachment Theory. Through these modalities, I’ve been able to support individuals facing substance mis/use, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, life transitions, and challenges related to relationships and self-esteem.
Currently, I’m pursuing ADHD Clinical Certification to further support neurodivergent individuals with tools that meet their unique needs. My work is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and a belief in every person’s capacity for change and self-love.
