Sonja J. Cullum, LPC, LMHC, CCTP, TBRI Practitioner

Sonja J. Cullum is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner with a heart for helping individuals and families heal, reconnect, and thrive. With extensive experience supporting clients impacted by trauma, attachment disruption, and complex family dynamics, Sonja provides a therapeutic space grounded in compassion, safety, and trust.

In addition to her trauma-focused work, Sonja supports children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation. She helps clients build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and understand the emotional roots of their struggles so they can regain a sense of balance and well-being.

Sonja specializes in working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma, including foster and adoptive families navigating attachment, behavioral, and relational challenges. Guided by principles of trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and TBRI, her approach promotes emotional regulation, connection, and lasting relational health.

As a Christian counselor, Sonja integrates faith-based values when desired, offering holistic care that honors each client’s beliefs and therapeutic goals. Her style is warm, relational, and collaborative—meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them toward growth and healing.

Sonja is also passionate about caregiver empowerment and community education. She provides parent coaching, professional trainings, and workshops focused on trauma, resilience, and healthy relationships.

Whether in individual therapy, family sessions, or caregiver consultations, Sonja’s mission is to bring hope, clarity, and connection to those navigating life’s hardest moments.
